Project Overview
Nutraceutical supplement manufacturer needed multiple case packing solutions for various loose bottles of different sizes at a wide range of speeds. Because of varied infeed speeds and product dimensions, three unique collation solutions were provided to fulfill their objectives based on specific line rates and product sizes.

Sequence of Operation
Product arrives to the Serpa Model P250 Top Load Case Packer in a single file lane. Product is: 1) flood fed into 1 to 3 lanes, depending on pack pattern; 2) divided into 1 to 3 lanes, depending on pack pattern; or 3) side pushed by a servo to a dynamic backstop. A case is erected with dual sided vacuum and presented for loading. The product is gently picked and placed into the case until the proper pack pattern is created. The case is sealed with pressure sensitive tape and discharged from the machine.
